What's a Giclée?
Giclée (pronounced "Jhee Clay") prints are long lasting, state-of-the-art reproductions produced by today's most advanced ink jet devices. High resolution drum-scanning has also allowed artists' work to be reproduced more accurately and with more dpi (dots per inch) than ever before. In addition, Giclées exceed traditional offset printing methods in one important respect--their ability to be printed on real canvas, the very same material artists use to produce their original paintings. This means that your limited edition canvas Giclée not only looks and feels exactly like an original painting (hence you don't frame it under glass); the artist actually enhances it with his own brush, touching up highlights that help the Giclée look dazzling under the proper lighting (just like an original, but at a fraction of the cost). In short, canvas Giclées are the "cubic zirconias" of the art world.
Finally, these Giclées are also available printed on traditional Somerset watercolor paper (that should be framed under glass). We'll ship directly to your framer. Custom sizes available. To order or for more information call Windsor Productions at (562)212-4923.
